Around 10 years ago I became permanently disabled, and unable to work and support my wife and 3 kids. If not for Mr. Calabrese helping me properly plan for my future a few years before my disability, my family and myself would not have been able to survive. To have Mr. Calabrese come into my life was a Godsend, for he is the only reason my family and myself can live a normal life. I retired December, 2000. I attended a seminar on Estate Planning February 2001, because my husband and I, and my daughter did not have the necessary documents if we were confined to a hospital, or passed away.
I met John Calabrese at this seminar and he told me since my husband and I were in our 70’s we needed a Will, Power of Attorney, Health Care Proxy, etc. He helped me with an attorney who drew up all the necessary documents.
My husband entered a nursing home September 2001. More problems had to be taken care of and John was there to help me on how to secure my assets.
March 2004 my husband passed away. John helped me to organize my portfolio, example: insurance, annuities, IRA Rollover.
Most of all I am grateful to John for helping me establish a “Special Needs Trust Fund” for my daughter who has a seizure (epilepsy) condition. This fund provides her with the means to be independent and get the help she will need when I am no longer around.
I and my daughter are happy to know we can call on John and he will be there if we need his assistance.
John always keeps in touch with us on our portfolio progress.
I want to thank John for being with us and helping us with our needs in the 8 years I have known him.

I first met John Calabrese six years ago at a “Financial and Estate Planning Seminar” sponsored by MetLife. My first impression of John was that he was a knowledgeable, and equally important, caring person. Both qualities are vital if you want an advisor who will be working for your very best interest and not one who is more of a salesman, i.e., one whose own best interest comes first.
Over the years, I have not been disappointed. John and his staff have always been available to me. Even more important, John has initiated our meetings when he felt I could be going in a better direction.
In short, John has looked after my account as if it were his own. What more can one ask?

My husband, Andy, was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease at the young age of 61. At age 63, Andy’s disease had rapidly progressed and Andy needed nursing home care. At the time, I was devastated and did not know what to do or where to turn. My daughter, Lisa, who was, and still is, a client of John Calabrese, put me in contact with John, who, in turn, introduced me to a lawyer who was familiar with such cases as mine and Andy’s.
I met with John and his team on several occasions to discuss my situation and go over my financial status. In turn, John was extremely helpful with setting up IRA accounts for me and helping me with what to do concerning insurance policies, etc. A trust fund has protected my finances for the past several years.
In addition, on John’s recommendation, I took out a Long Term Care Life Insurance Policy on myself in order to protect my assets. Doing this also protected my children from going through what I went through when my husband became ill with a disease that required nursing home care.
Throughout the years, John has always been there for me when I needed answers to my financial questions. Whenever I call John with concerns about my funds, he always returns my phone calls the same day. John is always patient and kind. When the market crashed and the country went into a economic crises, John was there to assure me, and do whatever was needed in order to protect my funds.
My husband, Andy, has since passed away, and John continues to help me accordingly.
I highly recommend John Calabrese as a financial representative, who can be trusted to do his best for his clients. John is extremely knowledgeable, and he is a good person.
